Well, we did it—More Than Friends is officially finished!
I originally thought I had two more chapters left to hit an even 60, but once I started writing, I realized I didn’t want to add filler just for the sake of it. These girls deserved their happy ending, and I was too excited to drag it out!
I want to take a moment to thank each of you for reading, encouraging me, and sharing your amazing suggestions along the way. Honestly, without your support, I might have ended this story way too soon. Your enthusiasm kept me going, and I’m so grateful for all the love you’ve shown these characters (and me).
Now, I may have accidentally ended all three of my ongoing stories on Substack in the same week (oops), so things might be a little quiet while I focus on planning the new stories. But don’t worry—I’ll be back to bug you with new chapters before you even have time to miss me!
Since I’m wrapping up earlier than expected, I’ll use the rest of this week to dive into planning The Other Girl and Under Her Rule! You won’t see any other new chapters this week, but I’m hard at work behind the scenes.
My goal is to post the first chapters of both stories by the end of next week. Then it will be back to our 2 chapters per week schedule. With two stories running, I’m going to try for more when I can, but 2 will be my minimum. I just need a little time to outline, get ahead, and make sure I’m happy with where these new stories are headed.
Now’s the perfect time to drop any suggestions, requests, or ideas you have for these upcoming stories (or even new ones!). I love hearing your thoughts, and you never know what might inspire a future scene. I’ve gotten some incredible suggestions and requests, and each one has sparked new ideas, so keep them coming!
And don’t worry—More Than Friends will stay open for potential bonus scenes in the future. (Maybe a return to that restaurant where they run into that very curious waitress? 👀)
